New SENCO Compressors Provide Speed and Power
CINCINNATI – SENCO Products, Inc. introduces a four-unit compressor line designed to provide contractors and frequent home improvement users with the speed and power necessary to handle framing, sheathing, decking, roofing, finish and trim jobs.
The line includes two wheelbarrow and two hand-carry models. All compressors feature larger air tanks to extend work sessions, state-of-the-art pumps, heavy-duty frames and are designed for quiet operation. The wheelbarrow models are additionally equipped with custom air shrouds for cool, extended operation.
“This line represents the culmination of extensive market research with professional contractors. We added many special touches to give our customers the very best product at a reasonable cost,” SENCO Product Manager Rick Wright said.
“We built the line from the ground up to meet the contractors’ need for convenience, power and quiet operation. The response from the test contractors has been outstanding,” he added.
The most powerful member of the SENCO line is the gas-powered 5.5-Horsepower Honda® Engine Wheelbarrow Compressor, model PC2012. The design features twin air tanks which provide 8 gallons of air capacity and excellent weight distribution. The unit also features an oil-splash pump to extend operating life, a 55-second pump-up time and a
14-second recovery time.
“This compressor represents SENCO going the extra mile,” Wright said. “It features a premium Honda® engine which increased our production costs, but met the requests our customers defined in market research.”
The 1.5-Horsepower Electric Wheelbarrow Compressor, model PC2011, operates on 115 volts and 1.5 amps. The model’s twin tank design provides 8 gallons of air capacity and includes the SENCO oil-splash pump. The speedy PC2011’s pump-up time is 84 seconds and its recovery time is 14 seconds.
Two 1.5-Horsepower Electric Hand-Carry Compressors, models PC2001 and PC2002, round out the SENCO line. The compact, lightweight models are designed for different uses, but each is equipped with a direct-drive motor/pump and a 1/4" universal coupler, regulator and pressure gauge.
The 58 lb. PC2001 contains twin, vertically stacked tanks which provide 4.3 gallons of air capacity to handle framing, sheathing, roofing, decking, finish and trim jobs. The model also features the SENCO oil-splash pump, a pump-up time of 70 seconds and a recovery time of 15 seconds.
The 49 lb. PC2002 is designed with twin, horizontal tanks which provide 4 gallons of air capacity for finish and trim jobs. The model contains an oil-less pump and boasts a 59-second pump-up time and a 14-second recovery time.
