"Genuine SENCO Fasteners" Offer Users Premium Performance Regardless of Tool Brand

New Fastener Program Features Quality, User-Friendly Quantities

CINCINNATI, OH — Buy a pneumatic tool; always buy the fasteners that go with it. Until now, the conventional wisdom among pneumatic tool users was that premium tools and fasteners should always be matched by brand. No longer. Thanks to SENCO, the industry's best fasteners now work in pneumatic tools produced by other manufacturers.

During the International Builders Show this February in Atlanta, SENCO Products Inc. showcased the Genuine SENCO Fasteners line, a wide array of high-quality nails, brads, staples and other fasteners guaranteed to deliver outstanding performance when used with a variety of competitive pneumatic tool models. SENCO fastener cartons will be identified for use in Bostitch, Craftsman, DeWalt, Duo-Fast, Hitachi, Paslode and Porter-Cable tools.

According to SENCO category manager Larry Perrin, the Genuine SENCO Fasteners program offers users, regardless of the type of tools they use, the ability to use some of the best performing, most highly engineered fasteners on the market in just about any situation. Still, he acknowledges there are other reasons users may find the new SENCO fasteners attractive.

"We also know that many people use whatever is available at the time and place they need fasteners," says Perrin.

SENCO conducted extensive research and tool testing to ensure quality and consistency of drive in competitive tools. Perrin reports that the fasteners, while produced to traditional SENCO performance standards, will be available at competitive prices.

New eye-catching red and black carton graphics and easy-to-read labels also distinguish the Genuine SENCO Fasteners program.

"We want to make it easy for the customer to quickly see which tools a particular fastener will fit, plus provide application information at a glance," says Perrin. "Both the label and the carton play a role in communicating to the customer what fastener they need."

The new fastener program benefits tool users and dealers alike. SENCO is also adding smaller package quantities for Framing/Sheathing nails and Finish/Trim nails and staples.

"Not everyone, not every project, needs 4- or 5,000 fasteners at a time," says Perrin. "Plus, dealers benefit by the fact that they can reduce the number of brands and items carried, yet still provide their customers a broad assortment."

Cincinnati-based SENCO Products, Inc., which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of air-powered nailers, staplers and the fasteners they drive. SENCO products are used in a variety of industries, including home construction and remodeling; cabinet and furniture assembly; manufactured housing; and industrial packaging.
