Revolutionary New Senco ThinkTrac Technology™ Uses Microprocessor To Prevent Unintentional Nail Drives

SENCO Advances Pneumatic Tool Safety With Introduction Of New FramePro® 600E

CINCINNATI, OH – The future of pneumatic tool safety has arrived with the introduction of the ThinkTrac Technology™ on the FramePro® line of Framing Nailers from SENCO Fastening Systems. Now working safer doesn’t mean working slower.

ThinkTrac’s revolutionary technology features a state-of-the-art microprocessor chip to protect users and co-workers from unintentional nail drives without hindering productivity on framing, truss building, subflooring, sheathing, decking or siding jobs.

SENCO is committed to safety and understands the importance of productivity on the job site, which is why we developed the ThinkTrac Technology,” says SENCO Product Manager Charles Lytle. “The FramePro line of tools are the first SENCO Framing Nailers to incorporate ThinkTrac Technology’s advanced safety features, and are also designed to provide the same productivity that SENCO products have been long known for among professional framers and remodelers.”

ThinkTrac Technology works as a standard pneumatic framing tool. It allows enough time to drive a fastener, but will “time-out” if a fastener is not driven within an allotted time - avoiding accidental discharges. And because the tool is always “thinking”, it can operate as both a bottom-fire (bounce-fire) and sequential fire (restrictive trigger) tool - all in one trigger - because ThinkTrac “knows” which one the user wants.

Bottom-Fire Time-Out: Pull the trigger before depressing the safety, and ThinkTrac enables the FramePro to operate in the bottom-fire mode only. The tools will continue to operate in this mode as long as there is one second or less between nail drives. If the safety is not depressed within one second of depressing the trigger, the tools will time-out, and both firing modes will have to be reset before driving another nail.

Trigger-Fire Time-Out: Depress the safety before pulling the trigger, and ThinkTrac enables the tools to operate only in the sequential fire mode, and will drive only one fastener per trigger action - that means no double fires. In this mode, ThinkTrac allows two seconds between the time you depress the safety and the time you pull the trigger, before the time-out engages. If it does, both the safety and trigger must be reset before driving another nail.

“With ThinkTrac Technology built into a SENCO tool, users get the same quality, reliability and productivity they come to know with SENCO products, with the added benefit of advanced safety,” says Lytle. “The FramePro tools are just the beginning. We plan to add ThinkTrac Technology to other tools in the future.”
