First annual Senco golf outing raises more than $8,000 for Shriners Hospitals

CINCINNATI, Ohio, September 13, 2012 — Senco® Brands, Inc. today presented a check for $8,784.42 to Shriners Hospitals for Children, the amount raised by the company’s first annual charity golf outing. Held on August 24 at the Elks Run Golf Club, the event had 116 golfers participating, 23 sponsors, and 26 companies making donations.

“We’re delighted to be able to support the wonderful work Shriners Hospitals for Children are doing for countless special-needs children,” said Senco CEO Ben Johansen. “I want to thank all those who helped make this outing an extraordinary success for an extraordinarily worthy cause.”

Shriners Hospitals for Children provides innovative pediatric specialty care, conducts world-class research and offers outstanding medical education. Through 22 facilities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, it provides advanced care for children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lips and palates.
