Senco® Adds to Industry’s Most Comprehensive Auto-Feed Screw Fastening Line-Up

CINCINNATI (August 12, 2013) – Senco’s new Duraspin 2” 18V auto-feed screwdriver has been named one of the 101 Best New Products of 2013 by the editors of Professional Remodeler magazine.

The publication compiles the annual list based on a review of products that generated the most reader interest over the last 12 months and chooses the ones that offer the best solutions for residential construction and remodeling pros.

The winning products will be featured in the August issue of the magazine and online at www.housingzone.com.

“Whether you’re installing drywall, tile backer board, subfloor, sheathing, decking, or tackling metal to metal applications like framing or wall panel construction, this high-speed screwdriver increases productivity by up to 30 percent simply by eliminating the need to load and position individual fasteners,” says Senco product manager Mike Desmond.

The Duraspin 2” 18V auto-feed screwdriver is offered in one of two application specific speeds: either 2500 RPM or 5,000 RPM. Both tools are powered by a compact 18V Li-ion battery, and can drive 500 to 700 1” – 2” screws per charge, depending on the substrate.

Other features include a tool-free screw length adjustment, a locking depth of drive adjustment, and a patent-pending corner-fit feed system for better access and screw placement in hard to reach areas.

Prices range from $139 to $265 depending on the model.
