Senco® Introduces New and Improved Lightweight Portable Air Compressors for Finish and Trim Applications

CINCINNATI (October 24, 2013) – When it comes to easy-to-use, portable,
lightweight finish and trim compressors, Senco has it nailed. The company is
introducing two new models: the PC1010N, a portable oil-free one-gallon unit, and
the PC1280, a six-gallon oil-free pancake compressor.

Both units are packed with smart design elements and user-friendly features that
increase performance, reduce maintenance, and improve durability in the shop, on
the jobsite, and around the house.

PC1010N
Senco has made its iconic PC1010 compressor more powerful and easier to use,
without sacrificing the ultra-quiet operation and lightweight, compact design that
made it a bestseller among woodworkers and hobbyists in the first place.

Upgrades to the unit include an increased operating pressure of 135 max PSI,
(compared to the original unit’s 125 max PSI), and the addition of an integrated
control panel and roll cage to protect vital operating components.

Measuring 14 inches long, 12.25 inches high, and weighing just 21 pounds, the
PC1010N is easy to transport and store. At 68 dBA, it is extremely quiet, making it
ideal for renovation and home improvement projects, hobbies, and crafts.

The .5 horsepower running induction motor produces .7 SCFM at 90 PSI, providing
ample air power to run finish nailers, staplers, and micro pinners without the motor
and pump constantly kicking on to refill the tank.

With highly visible gauges, easier coupler access, non-skid rubber feet, and a
comfortable grip handle, the PC1010N is the perfect sequel to its predecessor.

MSRP: $139 – 159.

PC1280
Senco’s new six-gallon oil-free pancake compressor combines power, speed, and
portability to tackle any jobsite finish and trim application. Delivering 2.8 SCFM at
90 PSI, with a maximum operating pressure of 150 PSI, the PC1280 provides
plenty of airflow and a quick recovery time for fast, efficient installation of
baseboards, molding, window and door casings, and cabinetry.

At 38 pounds, the PC1280’s compact design and in-line grip handle make the unit
easy to carry and maneuver. The pump and motor are completely shrouded to
protect vital operating components during transport and operation. The housing
also serves as a convenient built-in storage area for fasteners, safety glasses and
hoses.

The 1.5 running horsepower motor starts and runs off 12 amps to prevent circuit
breakers from tripping as the motor cuts in and out. The oil-free pump design
reduces maintenance and eliminates the risk of messy spills if the tank accidentally
tips or rolls over. The integrated control panel has highly visible gauges and is
equipped with dual couplers to power multiple tools simultaneously for increased
productivity.

Four oversized rubber feet on the bottom of the compressor reduce vibration,
increase stability, and prevent the unit from creeping across the floor during use.

MSRP: $159-179.

All Senco compressors carry a one-year limited warranty and will be available in the
fall at Menards and through independent pro trade distributors.
