Senco, a leading international manufacturer and marketer of power fastening solutions for the industrial and construction markets, has an excellent opportunity for a Industrial Electrician in its Newtown, Ohio Manufacturing facility.
Requirements
Knowledge of electricity, electrical codes and procedures in order to perform any electrical installation or maintenance in the Cincinnati facilities
Experience in high voltage electricity
Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing machines
Familiar with and able to troubleshoot AC and DC circuitry both control voltage and main power, sometimes with and/or without prints

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools, power tools and using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes and laptop to troubleshoot and work with PLC’s on Ladder Logic to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Must have the ability to completely rebuild control panels replacing obsolete electrical components, PLC’s, relays, contactors, transformers etc. bringing the equipment back into production in a timely manner.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
Repair and adjust electrical or electronic components controlling mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical equipment.
Assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to instructions or manuals.
Install and wire electrical equipment from blueprints and update prints accordingly.
