Justin is the owner of Top Notch Finishing, a boutique finish carpentry company based in the suburbs of Vancouver, Canada. With over 19 years of experience in the industry, Justin honed his craft working alongside his father for 14 years before venturing out on his own. Now celebrating five years in business, Justin has built a strong online presence through social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, showcasing his company’s work with daily stories and how-to videos.
While he often jokes that he “just nails wood to walls,” Justin’s expertise extends far beyond basic carpentry. His team specializes in doors, windows, baseboards, and custom projects like hidden doors, faux beams, and custom saunas. Justin’s versatility with tools, including the broad range of SENCO nailers, allows him to shoot over 1,000 nails a day, using pneumatic and cordless options for everything from framing to intricate finish work.
