Pete Chatel brings over 25 years of experience in the building products and pro tools category to his position as leader of marketing, R&D, and North American retail sales at SENCO. His career began at Black & Decker, where he was an integral part of the DeWalt marketing team, launching the brand during the early 1990s and ultimately directing all brand management. Subsequently, he was a senior executive at Pentair Tools Group (Porter Cable) and WWH Tool Group, leading global businesses and teams.
Pete’s expertise in product development, customer research, and marketing programs have helped drive the successful relaunch of the SENCO brand, the securing of additional business at retailers such as Menard’s and Lowe’s, and a wave of new product introductions including Fusion, DuraSpin and multiple pneumatic tools. He has also been instrumental in optimizing SENCO’s sourcing, manufacturing and supply chain functions both domestically and in Asia.
