Bob Simpson leads the global manufacturing and supply chain organizations at SENCO. He is responsible for continuously improving operations, by lowering costs and increasing process efficiencies, to meet sales and margin objectives and improve net working capital.
Bob joined SENCO in 2013 and brings 30 years of manufacturing and operations experience to the company. He has managed businesses and manufacturing operations in 18 countries during his career and has contributed to three greenfield plant startups in China, Poland and the U.S.
Bob has worked for international companies such as ITT, TRW and Textron. While at Textron, he managed 84 fastener manufacturing facilities in multiple global locations. Several were awarded Industry Week “Best Plants” awards. Bob is Green Belt certified.
Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from Miami University of Ohio and an MBA from Western International University. He is an active alumni of Miami, serving on the executive committee for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and a member of the Miami Athletic Director Circle.
