Safety Recall Notice

CINCINNATI, OH (August 25, 2025) – KYOCERA SENCO Industrial Tools, Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain SENCO 21-degree 18V Fusion Cordless Framing Nailers and SENCO 30-degree 18V Fusion Cordless Framing Nailers. 

In certain circumstances, the dual action engagement system on the nailers can malfunction and involuntarily discharge a nail by pulling the trigger alone, posing a hazard to users. The nailer should require both the nosepiece contact element to be depressed and the trigger to be pulled at the same time to discharge a nail. In an effort to eliminate this hazard, we are conducting a voluntary product safety recall. Only the following SENCO 18V Fusion Cordless Framing Nailers are affected:

The model and serial number can be found on the product information plate located on the back side of the nailer tool body (opposite side from where nails are loaded into magazine). Nailers with either a black ink mark or a punched hole next to the serial number on the product information plate are not included in this recall.

Anyone in possession of a recalled SENCO 18V Fusion Cordless Framing Nailer should stop using the nailer immediately and contact SENCO Customer Service at 1-800-543-4596 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday to verify the nailer is included in this recall, and for instructions on how to receive a pre-paid shipping label to send your nailer to SENCO for free repair.

Recalled tools should not be returned to the retailer where it was purchased or any other authorized SENCO dealer or service center.  SENCO dealers cannot provide the free repair or issue a refund for recalled tools. The nailers must be returned to KYOCERA SENCO Industrial Tools, Inc. for repair.
