SENCO Expands Cordless Framing Nailer Line with New Full Round Head Model

F-35FRHXP Opens the Door to Users of Plastic Collated Nails

CINCINNATI, OH (March 1, 2021) — SENCO today announced the release of the company’s first full round head cordless framing nailer. The F-35FRHXP is the latest addition to SENCO’s robust line of cordless nailers, which rely on air power, rather than gas or mechanical flywheels, to drive nails.

The F-35FRHXP drives up to 3 ½-inch full round head, plastic collated nails that many users prefer. The nailer is built with SENCO’s proprietary FUSION™ cordless pneumatic technology, which relies on a sealed compressed air cylinder that delivers the speed, feel and performance of a true pneumatic tool. It is capable of sinking nails fully into the hardest substrates, including engineered lumber such as LVL and OSB.

The release of the F-35FRHXP builds on the successful 2020 launch of the F-35XP, a cordless framing nailer that fires clipped-head, paper tape-collated nails. Both options will be available to users through SENCO’s network of distributors in North America.

“Last year, we launched the F-35XP to a great deal of enthusiasm. However, users of plastic collated nails quickly let us know they wanted a full round head version that would work with their preferred fasteners,” said Eric Bellman, senior product manager for SENCO. “The F-35FRHXP is the answer to that request and the first expansion of SENCO’s cordless framing nailer line that provides more options to meet our customers’ needs.”

The F-35FRHXP is engineered to be tough and reliable. It is also intuitive for users of traditional corded pneumatic nailers — there is no ramp-up time between shots, allowing users to work quickly when bump firing. Unlike gas-powered nailers, the F-35FRHXP produces no irritating fumes and does not require the purchase of costly fuel cells.

The F-35FRHXP features a 20-degree magazine that holds 35 fasteners and accommodates nails from 2 to 3 ½ inches long and .113 to .131 inches in diameter. Each 3.0 Ah Li-Ion extended-life battery can drive up to 600 nails per full battery charge.

The F-35FRH XP will be available in March with an MSRP of $549. Each nailer comes with two batteries, a 5-amp quick charger, a no-mar tip and a storage bag. Visit https://www.senco.com/tools/details-page/f-35frhxp.
